Once we have gathered enough information an estimate is given for the site development cost.
The final cost is guaranteed to be no more than that quoted in the proposal.
Upon receipt of a signed design contract and one-half of the total site development cost paid in advance, development begins.

Engage A Geek offers custom search engine meta tags designed right into each page of your site.
Engage A Geek can be hired for help ensuring your site is found, by registering your critical keywords in most of the major search engines.
After visitors find your site, you also want to have something (i.e., changing content) that will encourage them to return.
Engage A Geek offers many options to ensure your site is dynamic.
If you plan to sell items online, we can provide shopping cart solutions.
If you will be taking credit card numbers online, we will set up your order form on a secure server to protect the privacy of your visitors.
We will provide any programming solutions necessary in order to meet your needs.
We offer interactive calendars, "what's new" programs, search capabilities, online reservations, rotating banners, sound bites, interactive forms, and more.

GRAPHIC DESIGN AND ITS IMPACT ON YOUR SALES

DOMAIN REGISTRATION AND HOSTING SERVICES

Engage A Geek will assist in determining the best domain name(s) for your site, and will assist with the purchase and registration of same.
Our assistance will ensure the correct forwarding information is setup for the domain name server to the hosting company server.
We will assist with the choice of hosting company and the correct hosting plan to ensure total functionality of the site, at the best cost.

WEBSITE MAINTENANCE

Once your website is up and running, monthly maintenance is available at a variety of levels, dependent upon your company's needs.
Website maintenance and updates are important to ensure your site always has current information for your visitors.
If you prefer, training at our usual rate of $30.00/hour is available, enabling you to provide your own website maintenance and updates.

CONSULTATION AND FIRST MEETING

The initial appointment and consultation is free.
At this meeting a plan is developed for the website and if agreed upon, a contract is signed.
This contract or proposal will stipulate all aspects of the work to be performed and the total cost.
Before any work begins, an advance payment equal to one-half the total cost for the site development must be paid.

SECOND MEETING

The second meeting allows Engage A Geek and the client to assess the work performed to this point.
Client can make any necessary changes to the direction of the project, as long as changes are reasonably within the scope agreed in contract.
At this second meeting, the client is responsible for providing all content to Engage A Geek.

THIRD MEETING

By this meeting the site is basically finished except for small details that must be changed as specified by the client.
Proofing of the site is done at this meeting and any last minute content is added.
Last details are approved by client.

FOURTH MEETING

This is the last meeting included as part of the development cost.
The site is formally presented for client's approval and with minor changes, ready for uploading to the host server.
Final payment is due at this time.
Once payment is made, Engage A Geek will present the client with a copy of the site on CD.
With the client's approval, site is uploaded to the hosting server and becomes available on internet.
All links will be checked at this time.

TRAINING MEETINGS

When appropriate, additional time can be included for client training as part of the development cost of the site.

ADDITIONAL MEETINGS

Any additional time required for the development of the site can be contracted at current rates, guaranteed upon contract acceptance.
Under normal circumstances, this is generally not necessary.
